Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

Liverpool have won the league once since 1990?

And haven't Forest had a net spend of over £200m since promotion? Not like they're Luton
Liverpool have been in the top 6 for ages and are always there or thereabouts. When did forest last have a top half PL finish?

Agreed with Nuno not getting it, after our semi loss we lost to Southampton but then got it out of our system and won 3 and drew 1 of our final 5. Forest have dropped off a bit like Burley's Ipswich in 2001 who were third for a good chunk of the season before finishing in the UEFA Cup places too.

Here’s hoping that the same fete awaits them in the following season.

Well if you're just gonna ignore my question about Forest's net spend and then just plough on with your own questions I can't be arsed.

Not saying he shouldn't be in contention for recognition, just that he's not a winner for me due to the end of season drop off.

Also, you devalue actually winning the league, it's not that easy, even for a club like Liverpool over the last 25 years

Spending doesn't automatically mean success. Man city spent more than that have gone seriously backwards, and I'd imagine quite a few other teams have spent more too.

Yeah, they'll probably only finish second and win the FA Cup

From what I remember forest only really spent big on Anderson, the rest were relatively cheap for PL signings

It doesn't devalue, but you can't ignore that it makes it an atypical season. Since they became the Sky 6 with City joining I think only 1 team, Chelsea, has finished in the bottom half and this year there are 2
Definitely atypical but it did seem like you were implying that Forest’s 7th would be less impressive than our own, for that reason.

I think being the best of the rest in that era (first season) is more impressive, if they win their last 2 games and make the CL then that is

Fair enough; I at least see how you land on that.

Since Liverpool were promoted to the top flight starting in 1962/63 (62 years ago) they have not finished any lower than 8th.
