A welcome or unwelcome distraction from the league for both clubs?

I think we’ll see wholesale changes from both teams.

With our only natural left sided centre back suspended in Toti, there’s an argument to go 4 at the back in this one, going with an extra attacker and actually having a go, as the home side.

Johnstone
Jackson Yerson Santi Hugo
Bellegarde Andre
Fer Arias Rodrigo
Sasa/Hwang
Minutes and more time to bed in for Jackson. Andre plays because he had less minutes than everyone else today, Munetsi played the full 90 and you want to be giving Joao a rest (we don’t have anyone else, as we know). Doesn’t matter which of Sasa or Hwang start. Probably Hwang as Sasa wasn’t even in the squad today.

We all know Vítor is wedded to his 3-5-2, though. So someone will get shoe-horned in to the LCB position and it’ll be more of the same. Quality wise, this match is going to be a horrible watch. We’ll probably lose.

To celebrate losing today I bought tickets to watch this. Fuck knows why.

Cheap and plenty left for anyone considering it though.

My 6 year old grandson is going to his first ever game for this, disappointed I'm not going with them but I'm currently in Switzerland and will be in Baden Baden when the games on.

We will still play the same system, Vitor won’t change it when we’ve never looked like doing it before.

If there was ever a case for it, then today was the one, but he still brought Santi on instead.

Back home this week and made a last-minute decision to go.

Potentially silly question: do I need to be a member to get a ticket or can I buy on the door?

Dunno about on the door but my lad waited till general sale so he could get one for his son, so maybe.

Pretty sure we don't do pay on the door ever now, jump on the website and buy one now.

You could stand on the subway near the stadium while the game is on, it will be as much fun and you don't get to see it....double result.

First objective this evening............score a goal , any kind will do .

You know the sort we’ll score now you left it that open, don’t you?

A 1-0 win with a goal that bounces in off Hwang's face will do for me. Get a lucky draw in this competition and suddenly you're in the semi final. Clubs like ours should definitely be taking this competition seriously.

One rebounding comedically off Munetsi's arse please

Well I agree with that. From a superstitious point of view I was just trying to exclude ‘own’ from the ‘any kind’ option.

I hope the new guys get some minutes along with Yerson, i'd love to see Mane given 20 minutes or so and i don't want to see any of our back-up 'goalkeepers'

Other than that I couldn't care less about this game

We need a win, really. We’ve forgotten how to win games of football. None in pre-season. Two defeats off the bat this season. No wins in the last 4 games of last season.

I appreciate everyone is apathetic about Wolves at the moment, but it’s extremely important to get a win under our belts.

My predicted team for tonight

Johnstone
Jackson
Mosquera
Bueno
Doc
Wolfe (i think Bueno has got the shirt for Everton)
JRB
Andre
Lopez
Hwang
Arias

I'm hoping Johnstone isn't playing as I still haven't given up hope that we shift him before the window is over.

Hope he starts all the new guys. The only way they will bed in is with game time.
