Poor and lazy. Too many players not at the races, Jota paramount of those.

Only picked up when MGW came on. Really poor today. Really poor.

Lazy is just a load of nonsense.

Not really. Far too many slack passes. Tiredness is OK, but there was a general lack of awareness.

So not lazy then. Some players clearly had a hangover from Friday. It was a monumental effort. Saiss, for example, who was sensational on Friday was sloppy tonight but I'm not having that it was down to a lack of effort.

To call this group of players lazy is ridiculous.

A lack of awareness doesn't equal lazy though? Just a poor performance by the sound of things. Gotta get it right on Friday now. Lose and the title is a lottery.

Not a disaster, but this probably lies at Nuno’s door. Bennett isn’t a RWB, and messing with the back three to shoe horn him there was silly. All the more so because Burr proved himself more than capable when he came on.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. Just a shame that’s the points record now gone!

There was a general look that they just had to turn up and win, I'd call that lazy, but call it what you will. Jota in particularly was throwing his hands up far too often, it was just all round poor.

What a header from Burr, cracking way to make his debut. Glad to have rescued a point under the circumstances we looked a bit jaded in certain positions but after Boro it's no surprise. Massive game on Friday in to that.

Not sure on MOTM noone really stood out tonight. Need to be much better to win at Cardiff.

They looked drained. Because they worked so bloody hard on Friday. The freshness of MGW (who should have come on a lot earlier) really showed that I thought.

That's nonsense though, Hull might have had 11 players, but they still had one less days rest than us.

So two teams can't be tired?
I really don't get your point - they were less tired than us? We had two players who didn't play (much) on Friday, they played Saturday. Tiredness is not an excuse for our poor performance.

What? My point is that Hull's day less of rest doesn't mean our players can't be tired. I've never said it was an excuse. But calling them lazy is just a bit of a sad overreaction IMO.

They put more effort in, that was clear. Call us what you will but they wanted it more.

Had a feeling we’d struggle tonight certainly didn’t think it was going to be straight forward like some were thinking.
After being pegged back we were very sloppy, Probably still need 7 points to go up can’t see where Fulham will drop another point.

Did they? They just time-wasted for most of the game. We just struggle to break them down with any real zip to our play until MGW came on.

Most of us would've taken 4 points from Boro and Hull so I don't see the difference, especially as Cardiff was always going to be the toughest game of the 3 during this period.

May not have been the best performance but we were unbalanced from the start, we clearly miss Neves and I really don't think Alf is a very good player at all.

Nuno got this wrong tonight with his team but better to do that and not lose then do a Bruce and get gunned 3-0 after a tough game.

Pleased that we got ourselves a point & that we kept plugging away. But we seem totally lost without Neves - superb as he is - our whole game shouldn't fall apart because we've lost one player. It proves to me that we still need to invest heavily in the summer if we want to be comfortable in mid-table next season (assuming all goes to plan).

Nuno seemed to change his mind several times and it did come across as a bit desperate. It could have lost us the game, but then again, it grabbed us a point with the young lad popping up with a header. Either way, he's well in credit and I'd rather have a manager who tries different things to try and make something happen then a manager who waits too long (Christ, we've had plenty of them in my lifetime).

With the benefit of hindsight, perhaps we could have started with some fresher legs - maybe MGW could have started. And Jota has never convinced me in the middle of the front three.

Best Case scenario from here = beat Cardiff and it's more or less done and dusted.
Worst Case scenario from here = lose to Cardiff and they win their game in hand to go level on points with us.

Either way, MASSIVE game on Friday.
