Well, I really did enjoy that, so appreciate you posting it.
I can remember where I was for this game - sat round a mates listening on the radio. He snapped the radio off at half time, and I was convinced he wouldn't turn the radio back on, so I said "it';s ok, we're gonna win 4-3, and camara will score the winner". Little did I know...

Anyway, how agricultural was that for a game? wow.
Thought the chat (other than rae) was pointless. turned it down so low to avoid most of it.

I loved colin cameron as well.

You'll have to excuse too many of my impressions from that time as being formulated by listening to radio commentary mate. He seemed ever present for 5 years though.

Denis Irwin was what 37, 38 here? I'm older than that and I hope I don't run like that, he looks like a proper old man.

Possibly the most overrated Wolves player of the last 20 years. Him or Milijas.

Whilst i agree he was over rated - he never intended to play more than a few games that season, it was only because Luzhny was such an injury pretending cunt that Irwin played so much. He had severe arthritis in his toes according to Butler on his podcast. Thus the bizarre running style.

Jackie McNamara was far, far, far better for us than Irwin, Irwin's attitude was spot on though, played through pain every week.

Wish they'd do these reruns just with original commentary or the option to turn Mikey Burrows off annoying as fuck him.

Watched a bit of the 97/98 re run last night.

It was frustrating how many things they were getting wrong, i know it was just a casual talk over what was happening. But mixing up Mixu and Mark Venus made me irrationally angry, especially as it was regarding Mixu's away goal at QPR, as if it would ever be Mark Venus playing up there.
