How does the scoring work, btw?

Points scoring will be as per the Premier League Prediction Contest (1 point for a correct result, 3 points for a correct result & scoreline and 3 points for correctly predicting the first goalscorer - Maximum points of 6 per fixture) As an added bonus you can predict the winner of the tournament before it starts and if you do so you will receive 10 points, 5 points for a losing finalist and 3 points for a losing semi-finalist. Results count only up to the end of normal time but the first goalscorer can be in extra time if played. The first penalty of a penalty shoot out will not count as the first goal scorer in a game.

Just to let you know that even if you think that there will be goalless draw you should still enter a first goalscorer. It gives you a chance of picking up 3 points if your prediction is wrong whereas no points are awarded for there being no goalscorer.

A cracking round for Fred as not only did Sweden qualify for the Quarter finals, he top scored with 21 points and has moved to the top of the table. Key to the competition may well be his choice of Belgium to win the World Cup. If they beat Brazil he may well be home and dry but if they don't......

Young Wolf props up the table but with the ones closest to him having all selected Germany to win the World Cup he could yet avoid the wooden spoon.
