Somebody kills a lot less people if they don't have guns. There is no debating that it's physics.

But if they ban guns in America, I know they never will because...

They don't really put kids lives or any other lives before option 1 & 2 (3)
But just say they did, how on earth can they possibly get all the guns handed in?
Like have a gun amnesty.
Look how effective our Knife Amnesty was in the UK, a complete waste of time, so if they banned the sale of all guns today, there's still millions and millions of them circulating in the hands of lots of disturbed people.
And you'll never get them out of circulation.

We did a gun amnesty after Dunblane which worked remarkably well.

And even if most are not given up, eventually they'll be seized/break etc. If there's none for sale, then they won't be replaced, and within a couple of decades you're basically gun free in society. Granted, when you average a mass shooting every day or so, a couple of decades isn't ideal, but with checkless retail sales available right now, there will always be more guns available tomorrow than there are today. That, at least, should change.

It won't though obviously, ever change. Because not enough people over there give a shit about children once they're born

Just looking for something and saw this...

• More than 22,000 people have died due to gun violence overall in 2022, according to the Archive.

Now given that the definition of a 'mass shooting is 4 or more, that makes at each one there are 70 fatalities, which isn't the case obviously, but it does show how many individual people lost their lives to a bullet. if you divide the 270 days this far into 2022, into 22,000 that makes on average 81 people die every day from a gun. EVERY DAY! Jesus! 81 today, another 81 tomorrow, another 81 the next day and so on.... Absolutely stunning they don't do something.
