Actually there is a way to pop the thread on ignore. If you ignore NorwayFB - who hasn't posted on here for several years and isn't coming back, so you won't miss anything - then because he started the thread, you'll never see it. Unless you're a mod or admin in which case tough shit.

But that isn't really the point, I do think it's ghoulish and without any purpose so I'd rather it just be closed.

I know this thread has become a bit of a pariah, but wanted to share the front page from UNC Chapel Hill's student newspaper from Wednesday, after a graduate student shot and killed a faculty member in a campus lab.
