I used to like him when he was on TalkSport with Colin Murray. Murray leaving was the last time I listened to the station properly

Me too, his show was great.

He's on 5live every night now, tend to listen before bed.
 
I remember Murphy doing radio for BBC through one of the international tournaments, he was decent then, don't really have any exposure to TV pundits.
 
Well I still think he's crap waffles on about absolute nonsense, gets things wrong.....he's still on Talksport and manages to stand out as shit on there too, which takes some doing given the rubbish they have on there

As a pundit on MOTD i still think hes okay but but hes dreadful on live comms. People seem to think if you can do one you can do the other and its just not true.

Leon Osman continually calling the Leeds boss Marco Bielsa has certainly pissed their fans off on Twitter.
 
Lockdown must be getting to me. I’ve watched Glenn Hoddle on our games two weeks in a row and he hasn’t annoyed me either time. Maybe I’m mellowing now I’ve hit 40.

I feel you should seek specialist medical advice as a matter of urgency mate.
 
His analysis isn't always bollocks - Rio said he was the best England manager he worked with tactically. His man management is wank though. Although it was rare that I sat in the John Ireland watching us under Glenn thinking how amazing our tactics were. Or maybe I did, but for the wrong reasons.
 
Efan Ekoku. Sounds very intelligent but not convinced. 'Once again Wolves have nobody in the box' - 3 players in there at the time.

Pretty much every player he has managed says the same thing.

Teddy Sheringham is not his biggest fan though
