Amazing how the Beeb's story claiming Johnon reckons Putin wouldn't be doing what he was doing if he were a woman has been pulled.
 
But the tories haven't withdrawn the whip from him. Meanwhile, the fact he has previous for such behaviour tells us a lot about the criminality of the current tories. How many sex crimes have we heard of this year? Ones being investigated for rape. Another resigned for assaulting young boys. Watching tractor porn in the commons. Sure there are several more.
 
There’s calls for him to resign as an MP too. Tamworth has been Conservative for 12 years, not only as a Parliamentary seat but they have almost a clean sweep of council seats too. Labour took the seat in the mid 90’s in a by election before Blair swept to power and held it until 2010.

I can’t see Labour overturning a 20000 majority even if he does resign.
 
Unfortunately that is exactly why he won’t resign as MP as well, although he damn well should as this is not a first for such behaviour from him. Almost certainly been told not to as Big Dog cannot risk another by election loss.
 
How does Williamson look himself in the mirror? He knows that he hasn't got his Knighthood through genuine means, or his ability like so many people who do get this honour for incredible acts of generosity, kindness, valour etc. He's got it because he has seen a couple of things that he shouldn't have and has promised he won't spill the beans.

It must be so bloody embarrassing, for him and even his family?! But of course so many of these people are "unembarrassable". (is that a word? Probably not, but it works in this context)

Why limit the question to Williamson tbh?
His endgame, like the rest has always been self elevation. They don't care how or why, and take every pocket lining opportunity that arises.
Remember Jimmy Saville had a knighthood & I'm sure had no problem looking in the mirror.
Indeed the longer I live, the less certain I am so many of these "higher ups" live by the standards they espouse & expect of others.

No. 10 view: A No. 10 source said that allegations about Pincher had been conveyed to the PM’s chief of staff Steve Barclay, who flagged them to the Cabinet Office propriety and ethics team during the February reshuffle and refused to sign off the appointment until they were looked at. Pincher’s appointment was signed off only after PET gave it the green light, the No. 10 source claimed, something which delayed the reshuffle by hours (though it was reported at the time that the delay was partly down to Pincher resisting the deputy title when he had been expecting to get the top job).

Open secret: In this essential piece in May, POLITICO’s Esther Webber reported claims that a member of the government had a “minder” to ensure he left events without drinking too much and getting into trouble — and we can now reveal the MP concerned was Pincher. That obviously went well. He did not respond to a request for comment last night, and a senior party official said they were not aware of the claim.
 
U-Turn!

Three hours ago Fat Alex considered Pincher’s resignation closed the matter.

He now has agreed that Pincher should have the whip suspended during the investigation.
 
The bloke is incapable of making a decision against any of his supporters. What part of Pincher having to resign because hed sexually assaulted people when pissed did he think wasn’t worthy of suspending him or removing the whip?
 
Who becomes the party whip, when the party whip has it taken away?
