Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Which friend of the government got the contract for the roll out of meal packs instead of vouchers?

Strange decision for Epsom to get a contract for a mass vaccine centre. Can’t think of who the people in high places with connections to the horse racing industry would have waived that one through.

I’ll apologise in here if the racecourse is being used FOC.

For that part of Surrey & S London that's a sensible venue - good parking & acres of space inside

Can't comment on any financial arrangements.

Did many events (including my elder son's wedding reception in there) so know what its like

I vividly remember a vox pop thing on BBC where they interviewed people in the queue for a food bank and asked them who they were going to vote for, at least one of them said Tory.

Should have sent them to the back of the queue if they like it so much.

I see £5 or so is the price people are syaing these £30 boxes cost. Well they won't cost that much as people are using standard supermarket prices. Company behind these will buy in bulk and therefore get things a lot cheaper. Probably seeing £3 worth of food in terms of cost to them

It's a branch of Compass who are doing loads of these. Compass of course cater to a lot of places, pretty much universally badly. They're essentially the Yodel of catering.

Have a guess which political party their chairman has donated heavily to in the past.

I'm in a bit of a funk today, but this is really making me miserable. Why on earth would people do this? I really don't understand what would motivate anyone involved in this.

Well the latter, but both are pretty incomprehensible.

Lentil-munching bleeding heart that I am, I never particularly want a penny more in my pocket than I need.

This lot would rob their own granny's purse even if it meant their net wealth went from £1,000,000 to £1,000,001. They're only interested in personal wealth. Nothing else.

We then have a strange class of people who are not well off at all in any conventional sense of the term, but like to be told they are, and resent anyone else being given something they can't have. Which is why we have benefit porn TV and a decade of Tory government.

Doesn't make any sense, does it. Take the tax credits fiasco when Cameron won a tiny majority which surprised even him, the ham faced bastard. "Oh, I didn't think they were coming for ME when they said they were cutting £12bn from welfare". Guess what pal, once you've handed them your vote they'll happily do you over. And yet they still get votes.

I mean these are the kind of wankers they're voting for too (we have two particularly egregious examples of the same thing in Wolverhampton, Stuart Anderson and Jane Stevenson, both as thick as pigshit, both there purely because they support Brexit).

Sorry Simon, what "facts" are you waiting for beyond "pictures of the food"?

Penne pasta in takeaway styrofoam boxes, and tuna decanted into a frappuccino cup. Brilliant.

Still, it's only poor kids, eh. They probably wouldn't have amounted to much anyway.

Also, the fuck do you do if you don't like beans?

This is absolutely fucking outrageous. Just give them vouchers for fucks sake, and accept that a tiny proportion of people may take the piss. Absolutely fucking fuming. Give every Tory MP one of those boxes and have them feed their kids that for a week. Absolute fucking CUNTS

10 days, mate. Not a week.

Iain Duncan Smith once spent £39 on a breakfast and charged it back to the taxpayer.

Also, the fuck do you do if you don't like beans?
To quote my Mum when we were skint and we were being little twats as we were too young to appreciate the effort and sacrifice they were making to ensure we had food everyday - "If you are hungry, you will eat it" (we didn't because of said twatish childish behaviour)

Some MP will pop up shortly to say they or their parents didn't complain in WWII when they were fed scraps or nowt, life was better in those days etc etc
