Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Shame he can’t change income tax rates in Scotland or (I believe) Wales as the power to do so resides with the devolved governments

He has a majority of 2, and that’s if he keeps the DUP onside. I fully expect a massive push for a second independence referendum in Scotland now

How far south can we push the Scottish border?

Can't wait for his brother to turn against him and fight for a second referendum. He's going to stick to his reasons for leaving the Cabinet isn't he.......?

Tories and morals?

Look at the recent actions of Amber Quisling.

Boris will get a Majority I reckon and with that he will push on with No Deal as that will be Number 1 in his list of 2 things in his manifesto (other will be give the very rich a bit more ££).

I thought that he had to deliver Brexit first in order that the Brexit Party can't take votes from the Conservatives?

If he goes full in on the No Deal in the manifesto he gets back the Tory voters who flipped to the Brexit Party. All they will be left with is UKIPers and a few annoyed Labour voters. Obviously if he is going to go this way he needs to call a GE sharpish.

He won't last long. Can see a lot of Tory Remainers and centrics deflecting to Lib Dems now Jo Swinson is leader.

I can’t imagine the likes of Ken Clarke staying in the party. Hopefully it completely splits. Although in an ideal world you’d need the Labour Party to do roughly the same.

Surely no deal won't happen anyway due to the DUP? Can you withdraw from a coalition agreement?

They're not coalition partners, it's a confidence and supply arrangement (which has now technically expired, because we haven't had a Queen's Speech in years).

I wouldn't ascribe any logic to anything the DUP do :icon_lol:

The DUP would go for No-deal. Border with the Irish republic rather than a Trading Border with the UK every time.

Congratulations to Boris Johnson on becoming the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He will be great!

The Australian PM knows his stuff.

Scott Morrison

@ScottMorrisonMP
He has a reputation for getting things done and making things happen. I wish him all the best as he charts the way forward for the UK. We have a great relationship with the UK and it will remain so with Boris.

Apart from his breeding program I'm struggling to think of many others.

I never thought I'd ever see the day when Jeremy Hunt was my preferred candidate for anything. Just bizarre. We're in the upside down.
