Worked with Ian Rush, I say go with it.

Moving away from this lunacy, I'd have 4-3-3. All of Joao/Neves/Donck playing, Adama and Neto wide, Fabio up top. Harsh on Podence but he'll play his part the week after.

I think I'd go back to 3-4-3 for this game but play Neto, Pod and Fabio much closer to each other.

Could always switch it to the 4 at the back if we are behind at HT.

I think we take advantage of them having no proper centre halves and apparently Alisson is also a doubt. You'll never have a better chance to attack them.

Rui
Boly - Coady - Kilman
Semedo - Neves - Donk - Marcal
Adama - Neto - Podence

for me

I think I’d play Neves instead of Podence and Fabio for Raul from the last game. Shores up midfield a bit but still gives us more going forward. Interesting to see how Nuno goes here, wouldn’t surprise me if we go 3-5-2 with Neto and Traore up front.

This is the correct answer.

Bonus of confusing the feck out of Liverpool if we played DW's team :ROFLMAO:

Silva will start - 3 or 4 at the back is a choice Nuno will need to make - depends on whether he wants to have a go at their back line early or not.

Not my decision - for which I am glad.

Patricio
Semedo Boly Coady Kilman Marcal
Dendoncker Moutinho
Traore Silva Neto

Harsh on Podence I know, was touch and go with him or Traore to be honest. Just feel we need two out and out wingers.

Although another option (and think we might see this) is some sort of slight triangle up top with Traore and Neto slightly narrower and Podence in a false 9 role.

Sod it lets go 4-2-3-1 again with the team that played most of the last match.....Liverpool are a shambles at the back atm, beat them 5-4

I'd play a deep 4231, minimise the space in behind us and hit them on the break.

Same team as Arsenal but swap Raul for Silva and make sure Adama is in the wide awake club defensively

This is a game made for a counter attacking team

Torn between as Johnny says go 343, as I fear the spaces we've left in previous two games being exploited by Jota, Mane and Salah OR as Dan says, this is the best time to get at their defence, Traore is benefitting massively from having more attacking players around him, Podence is great as the ten and Neto has scored in both games.

I think Nuno will bring Kilman in personally. Maybe even play Neto-Podence-Traore as a front three. I kinda hope I'm wrong and he goes for it.

I reckon 4 at the pack and Fabio up top. Let's have a real crack at 'em.

I really worry about Liverpool in wide areas vs our full backs in a flat 4, they were very exposed at times vs Arsenal.

That said, there's definitely a case to be made for just being brave and playing to our own strengths. In Adama, Podence & Neto we've got enough to test any defence in world football and Liverpool's is significantly under strength right now. I'm fairly sure Nuno will go with 4 at the back, the question for me is whether he plays Silva in front of the other 3 or opts for the extra defensive solidity that playing Neves, Dendoncker & Moutinho together brings.

Nuno had a dream
To build a football team
With Chinese owners and a wonderkid from Porto
With 4 at the baaaaack, and Fabio in attack
We're Wolverhampton, we're on our way back

Free swing

4-2-3-1

Jota to score , obviously , just for Keefs benefit.

Rui
Semedo Coady Boly Marcal
Neves Donk
Traore Podence Neto
Silva

Shaabani
Ruddy
Kilman
Moutinho
RAN
Vitinha
Otasowie

Time for another odd result. Lets go silly. 4-2 to us.

You'd drop Moutinho after the last two games? Really?
