I don't mind either. enjoy standing in the SB, equally enjoy sitting in the NB. When in the SB I do value the opportunity to sit during half time.

@Aikiwolf made a good comparison with gigs. In the main, I prefer to stand at most gigs, though some artists/musical styles lend themselves better to seating.

Have to acknowledge I am getting older. Mrs jelly has expressed a preference for seats at some shows in recent years, so I have gone with her wishes. However when I go on my own, I'll almost always get a standing ticket.

I've had seats at a handful of gigs, it really is an awful way to enjoy music and has only been dictated to by ticket availability.

After a fair few years of sitting down its really lost its appeal, like standing at the bar something else I don't do anymore.

Feels dirty praising these wankers but Bolton have pulled all betting sponsorships, removing betting kiosks from the Reebok and will be replaced by addiction charities. The only one to remain will be SkyBet who sponsor the EFL. Get enough clubs to do it and hopefully the EFL drop them at the next renewal..

depends on the music really. been to a few classical shows, orchestral things, ludovico einaudi etc, all better sitting down.
saw sigur ros play a fairly rocking set, but enjoyed it from the seats. you get to see the light/stage show.
obviously the more upbeat gigs would in the main be better standing. That said, as a perennial short arse, I can see better from a seat.
First choice (for a music gig) would be standing though, in the main.

I went to a David Gray gig once that was standing. That was extremely unpleasant.

I don’t go to many gigs these days but if I did I’d probably sit now. I’m a short arse and can’t be bothered with spending the whole gig being annoyed by lanky fuckers blocking my view. Plus, my moshing days are long behind me!

Had seats for Kate Bush. Otherwise I would normally have standing. When I took Micro to a gig we had seats for Slayer and that definitely was less fun than being in the pit.

Other end of the spectrum but I'd probably sit as I used to get sick of short fuckers behind me moaning they couldn't see. Same as football too.

Mexican press are apparently picking up on Martinez's trashtalking opposition penalty takers. Does it for Villa and Argentina. They seem to think it should be classed as unsportsman-like. It probably is, but unless he runs up to an opponent and shouts in his face it would be impossible to stop.

West Brom fan sentenced to four weeks jail term for racially abusing Romane Sawyers today. I wonder if that Wolves fan that racially abused Rio Ferdinand will get the same sentence. Made me laugh he said auto correct the word Buffoon changed it to Babboon.
