Random question but anyone know the ref's name? Was watching on my phone but convinced its the lad I used to work with.

No idea how they’ve managed to make it go to penalties. Team full of Podence’s up front. Disappointed by Cundle, expected him to dominate more at this level. Hodge has looked a better player.
Yeah Cundle has been very underwhelming here. Campbell has been a bit of a magnet for the ball due to his obvious quality but all I can remember about Cundle is him spending large parts of the game throwing his hands in the air.

I think it’s been a poor performance generally by them - Bueno (and maybe Campbell) the exception. Marques and Lembiska have had a lot of plaudits here and via Tim but I’ve been pretty disappointed with what I’ve seen.

I’ll be fascinated to see what kind of career Harkin can forge. He reminds me of an old school finishing forward (a bit Kevin Phillips).

I thought we dominated the game, created the most chances and wba scored two incredibly spawny goals.

I thought Marques was pretty poor for both. Didn’t seem to have the anticipation or awareness to intervene and both were scored by the guy he was marking. Appreciate that might be harsh for the second but he should absolutely do better for the first.

Their keeper barely had a save to make. A lot of the passing around the back 5 was so slow the passes barely got there, meaning they couldn’t take advantage of the space and it just went back the other way.

Moqeuera looked solid but had little to do. Didn’t really rate Marques. Thought he was supposed to be good on the ball but I didn’t see it.

Ever since I said Campbell was too good he was dreadful for the last 45 mins. Liked Hodge, best player by a distance. Bueno looked decent too, good pace and dribbling ability and a decent left foot.

Disappointing to lose the shootout after basically having it won. Can’t afford to miss the target twice. And if you’re going to go down the middle you’ve at least got to lift it to avoid the training leg.

The first goal, wba runs off Mosquera and gets in front of Marques. It's behind marques so he either needs a shout or Mosquera stays with his man.

Even then I'm not entirely sure how the wba directs the ball towards goal.

We played them off the park, and should have won.

With Ruddy going this summer, I expect Sarkic to make the move to #2 behind Sa. Be good for him to train regularly with Roberts & he’ll surely be given some cup games and such.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Bueno feature more next season too - maybe on the bench etc. He seems to have had a solid season.
