Newcastle (A) 13/9 Build up & Match day thread.

If JSL's injury is worse than first feared - then we could be in real bother for a while . First things first though - let's get the defensive set up sorted and stop leaking easy goals .

I could never understand why Nuno went to either Spurs or Forest . Neither club / owner was suited to him . The reputation of the Forest owner is well known and was known before Nuno went there - falling out with him can hardly come as a surprise to Nuno .

Ah yes , but when did he ever stand out in a match for us ? How much are we actually losing by loaning him ?

Wolves 2-3 Everton - verdict thread.

At this point buying a strong midfield player with a bit of creativity appears hugely important now before the window closes - but can they ?

You'd have to assume that other PL other have put in bids for Hackney as well ? Better being in with a chance than not I suppose . We do need a striker though , can't be having Tolu falling through with no back up .

Summer 2025 Transfer Window (not Wolves)

Personally I think Isak will struggle at Liverpool ( assuming that it goes ahead ) . Lots of pressure on him too given the way that he has behaved , and Slot will demand that he delivers too .

I'm not convinced at all that he wasn't just been used to get another player . We see where Newcastle are now moving for a German player and the deal appears to be done - that means that they have been in discussions with his people for a while . Very hard to know what the real truth is at this...

JSL is no Cunha in terms of his behaviour - or at least all indications are that he is not , thus far . Will be very interesting to see how Cunha gets on at United if the goals don't come and the club are struggling .

The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

The problem with transfer sagas that drag on like with the JSL one is that tweets drop all the time regarding the progress to date ,driven by agent talk and talk from the buying club . In both cases they want the move to happen for their own vested interests . Quotes drop from both about what...

Did JSL actually publicly say that he wanted to leave ? Or was that just claimed by someone on a tweet but never confirmed?
