Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

Regardless of who we would appoint, we have to do something. We can’t keep going on like this.
100%. The fact he hasn't gone yet kind of means he won't though. Hopefully it's because they are sounding people out, but I doubt it. The November international break has always been stuck in my head for when I think we will see change.

I posted on the 19th 'be careful what you wish for' #122 but I now think that the sacking is inevitable so we should just get on with it. We're not going to win many points, if any, in the 3 games he's apparently been given so I'd rather see a change now, even if it just changes our luck which I don't think we get much of. I don't see BR coming, I certainly don't fancy AP, maybe Muscat is likely of the ones suggested or else drag someone out of retirement like Celtic have done as a caretaker, Woy maybe

Fucking idiots, the lot of them.

“Not under immediate pressure” despite not winning a game of league football in OVER SIX MONTHS. We’ve given him a new contract in that time for crying out loud.

“If they sense dressing room unrest”. What do you need to see? JSL frog marching Vítor out in to the centre circle at Molineux and then knocking him out? You’ve got Sa arguing with fans in the car park, the players getting in to arguments/discussions with the South Bank, Vítor himself being a weirdo and trying to kick off at the fans etc etc. How much more do you need to see, Jeff? You fucking idiot.

Oh what’s that? We’ve lost to all three of the newly promoted clubs and you’ve just suddenly “realised” they’re better, have you?

Just fuck off.

I am at the point now where ANYONE will be preferable to Fosun. Even that mad American who everyone hates. We’re going down anyway and Fosun have just ripped the life and soul out of the club at every possible level. I just want Shi gone.

The players saturday weren't having arguments with the south bank. To be honest, I do have a lot of respect for them for trying to dissolve the anger that was there, and saying to the fans "we need you". It must have been fucking hard to do, to take harsh comments from a crowd of people. Strand Larsen, Krejci, Santi and a few others went up in my estimation as human beings to be honest. They handled it with maturity, and I do believe they're hurting from the results, like we are.

The players could have shied away from that very open, hostile criticism. I bet I would have, and I bet most posters would have too. They didn't need to expose themselves to the potential for abuse, yet likely knew they would get it.

Strand Larsen took the initiative and approached. Other players went to stand with him. But they did not have a go back at the fans at all.

I didn't think Vitor handled it as well as they did. That may be due to his character.

I don't think Vitor is the right coach for us. I think the forum is pretty united on Shi/the ownership. I don't think we need to be having a go at the players at the moment though.

I read somewhere that Vitor was saying we all need to stick together and fight together, this seems feasible from the way he was thumping his hands together, he's an emotional guy and was maybe misinterpreted but I don't actually think he was challenging the SB to a fist fight

Meh. Most of these players will be whacking transfer requests in or leaving the moment the ‘R’ is put next to our name - they’re not the biggest problem in this massive pile of steaming shite, but they’re getting no credit from me either. There’s no loyalty in this squad. JSL throwing his arms about at the crowd trying to get them pumped up whenever we win a throw-in in the oppositions half is embarrassing. All their ‘emotional’ posts after the game about “needing to be better” and “the fans always being there” are embarrassing. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t need to hear you chatting all week about what you “need to do”. Actions speak louder than words. We’re fast approaching a World Cup and you’ve got Andre stomping off down the tunnel like a spoilt teenager. No - the players get no credit.

I might have used the wrong phrase by saying “arguments”, but I couldn’t care less about any of the playing squad, to be honest. Most of them aren’t good enough, some are woefully underperforming, some others don’t want to be here & are just waiting for relegation to be confirmed before they can get their next move. It’s the most detached I’ve been from a playing squad since I can remember and all their ‘false’ passion whilst churning out defeat after defeat after defeat for HALF A YEAR is making me dislike them even more.

Historically ive always tended to be in the 'give him more time' camp with most managers, but its hard to see how this situation gets better. It doesnt seem likely that we somehow fluke a win and then go on an unbeaten run to mid table.
i think he dug his own grave at the end of the game on Sunday with how he reacted to the fans.

Sadly they won’t. As they will be on contracts way above their ability. We ain’t getting our money back and they’re not getting similar wages from midtable Belgium/netherlands/serie A etc.

Were going to be lumbered with a lot of this shite or need to pay them off and or take losses.

Unless we take a hit we will be stuck with the likes of MM, JRB, R Gomes, Hoever, H Bueno etc usually when you go down you’re stuck with the players you don’t want but can’t move on. Just waiting for someone to tell me MM and JRB will be good in the championship.

I'm pretty sure someone said that Bellegarde was brilliant on Sunday... so he's more than good enough for the Championship...🤦

He’ll look standard absolutely won’t look a baller. As will a lot of them.
