Bellend commentators

I quite enjoyed the Europa Final last week not having that idiot Robbie Savage and Rio hyperboling over United during the game

Joe Hart doesn’t appear to understand which is the near and which is the far post after saying Elliot put it into the far post. No wonder he suddenly declined as a keeper!

Lianne Sanderson has been on here for the Euros and holy shit, she single-handedly has me muting the entire competition, whether she's on the call or not. Truly terrible.

Carragher keeping it completely stum after Semenyo reports being racially abused by a Liverpool fan.

As pathetic as the moron who has done it.

*Asked about it at half time and basically gives the most blasé answer to it.

"happens pretty much all over the world" as if that's some sort of excuse.

Pretty sure Gary Neville almost immediately mentioning Luis Suarez afterwards was a deliberate dig at him.*

It’s a disgrace how bias he is to Liverpool and Everton to a lesser degree.
His opinions especially on Liverpool are non objective so are pointless.
It’s a disgrace that Sky allow him to commentate on Liverpool games.
Seems a party line that all commentators have to say nice stuff about Liverpool all the time to avoid a backlash.

Just when you think Sky's punditry and co comms choices couldn't get any worse this weekend, they roll out Chris Sutton.

Great! Tony f**king Gale

Hwang one of our star players and a leader...

Hats off to the one-eyes commentators on the athletics today for superb examples of bollocks partisan coverage. The woman I just heard replayed on 5 Live failed to mention any other athlete than Wightman at all down the finishing straight. Even after someone else had won. No one at all.

The bloke on TNT did manage to reference the Portuguese winner. Unfortunately with the words “here comes the Moroccan”.

Which is all a bit, well, whatever. But it’s a bit annoying to think that if you’d put a microphone in front of me I could have definitely done a better job of explaining what was going on to a listener with no visuals. And my prep for it involved doing a completely different job, no research whatsoever, and realising they were on the start line on mute behind my laptop and picking it up from there.

Will watch the highlights on the BBC later and let the excellent Cram tell me what actually happened.
