Best holiday destinations

Supposed to be heading back today but currently on a ferry to the mainland hospital where the better half needs an operation after breaking her leg last night.

Passing the time reading the small print of the travel insurance but not much chance of making work in the morning.

Croatia is very beautiful, just hoping the healthcare is the same but they have been very good so far have to say.

We are off there at the weekend.
Sorry to hear of you wife's misfortune.

Cracking holiday thank you.

Was literally the last knockings of the holiday. Fabulous weather but had a stonking thunderstorm just before going to bed last night ready to check out this morning. Went onto terrace to watch lightening show over distant mountains, tiles on steps were wet….
Had been riding a scooter all over the mountain roads too during the day but wet tiles

Split was terrific, Korcula beautiful. Croatia is a very easy place to like, fairly reasonable too.

Cracking holiday thank you.

Was literally the last knockings of the holiday. Fabulous weather but had a stonking thunderstorm just before going to bed last night ready to check out this morning. Went onto terrace to watch lightening show over distant mountains, tiles on steps were wet….

Split was terrific, Korcula beautiful. Croatia is a very easy place to like, fairly reasonable too.

Berulia, Split region I believe. I've had nothing to do with the booking as my wife did ut all. I know nothing .
Any recommendations would be appreciated anyway.

So much to do, I’d just have a shufti at all the trips on offer and see what you fancy. The day trips to the islands are pretty cool although you often only see the busy dock areas, shops and restaurants, but exploring on a scooter is a blast if you’re feeling brave.

Lots to do in the cities, on the water, and in the countryside too, you’ll never go short of options, but I wouldn’t blame anyone for putting their backside on a lounger and not moving too much either.

Aside of that only recommendation would be to avoid wet tiles… have a great time.

Hajduk Split at home to Dinamo Zagreb on 20th. Probably need to buy tickets off a resale site as they sell out. Great ground and get in or near Ultras section for atmosphere. 15 mins walk from main centre as well.
