Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

What a fucking shit show.

Much has already been said, but the way Bournemouth tore into us the first 10-15 mins was embarrassing, we just weren't physically up to it and were (legally) just bullied out of it. Bellegarde getting bodied by fucking David Brooks...9 stone soaking wet...I mean FFS

We looked totally out of our depth, and this is Bournemouth (a decent mid table side at best). More hungry and better than us all over the park. More quality, more desire.

Agree with Punts in that there are few players I actually could care less about in this team. No creativity, just a mediocre team and we don't even have enough fight to compensate for that.

New signings still have jury's out factor, but we need 3/4 of them to be big successes, like in the next couple of months, or we're really in trouble. I really hope the new boys aren't the downgrades I fear them to be.

Not going to speculate on the Andre and JSL drama, but hope there's no truth in either, we could do without more problems.

Here's to kick-starting West Ham's season on Tuesday 😅

Also I am fucking sick of Marshall Munetsi. Go and throw a ball at a wall in your garden. Hard as you like. It won't bounce as far as his first touch.

Abysmal footballer. Don't give me this crap about him making space for others, he's shite.

You know I give him a break because he's a trier, but who do you replace him with in the current squad? Are you convinced Lopez is ready/good enough?

Just as we can see the replacements are miles short of the players they’ve been brought in to replace so can the likes of Andre and JSL. It’s hardly a surprise that they might feel Wolves isn’t the team for them anymore.

Before this season started I thought our top 4, good-calibre PL players were Agba, Andre, Gomes, JSL.

One's form is a concern, one can't start to even judge form and ones been unsettled and out of form. There must be something we can find on the other...looked over for captaincy in a group that involves Docherty?

At the end of the day, only two games played but it's certainly a concerning start.

The problem is you're already in the territory of next week against Everton being at very least must not lose. Because we'll lose at Newcastle after the international break and you don't want to be going into Leeds at home on 0 points (and who knows, maybe 0 goals, we don't look like scoring very many).

As you find my post so amusing, @Lycan, I’d love to get your current thoughts on our incoming business as you’ve said a number of times you very much like the look of the profile of our signings so far?

Just to point out, there are several people and posts in this very thread alone questioning the quality of the new players - not just me, before you start making it in to a “stop pant wetting” exercise.
Ah well. Gave you a chance to engage properly but you decide to go down the ‘Mark’ route. Shame.

I’ve heard that Vitor has lost the dressing room somewhat. Players don’t feel fit enough.

Wasn't this mentioned by fans during pre-season too (which obviously is a fitness building exercise in itself)?

Did anyone who was there yesterday feel this? Can't say it jumped out as a big problem watching it for me

Also not ideal that all four of what you would say are our relegation rivals from the outset (promoted teams plus Brentford) have picked up a win in their first two games

It beggars belief how some still bang on about Jinky, pant wetting and positivity when you look at this shit transfer window, pre-season and our games so far 😅
No-one is disputing how shit the players, Vitor and the club have been, but it's incessant often by the same posters. As Kenny said, if that's how anyone wants to view it, that's their choice but to some of us it seems excessive. It's no worse than some who belittle posters who try to have a modicum of positive views.

This isn’t a thing. It’s the other way around.
I disagree, anyone who posts a slightly less than negative view recently is patronised and dismissed. It goes both ways. Anyone who can't see that is being one eyed.

Having been on the end of the patronising and dismissive shit for months (have a look at Lycan’s laughing emojis without lack of reply today for a very recent example), you’ll have to forgive me for disagreeing.

That's fair enough but I don't understand why you can't see both factions are equally at 'fault'

If people have something positive to say they should post it (we all do at times).

Just pointing out someone else is being 'negative', doesn't mean you're being 'positive'
