Best holiday destinations

I would say a Maple Leafs game would be decent. Trouble is it would be playoff time when Kenny would be there

Sports wise i think it's just Baseball and (THE) MLS on when I am there

Will be making an effort on the French for Montreal....the locals may kill me for butchering it though.

Bastard hotel prices there are obscene for the F1 weekend, as you would expect. Have found a decent Air BnB though with some free underground parking. Few mins walk from a Metro station that is an 8 min journey to the island for the race. Close to the downtown area and the port.

What's the deal with Tim Hortons....are they the Greggs of Canada or something, they are everywhere

Tim Hortons is overpriced weak coffee and shite food generally.

[I’ll probably be banned from Canada for making this post]

Tim Hortons has got to be the biggest disappointment on a trip to Canada. Kind of had this expectation with so many people grabbing a coffee on the way to work it’d be some ultra-slick operation, but it seemed to take ages every time with a load of accepting people in line stood with a gormless expression.

I didn’t get that one at all.

For coffee in the F(U)SA and Canada I found Dunkin Donuts to be the best, somewhat surprisingly.

Might be reading your posts wrong, so apologies if I am but do I take it that their coffee is shit and you are not a fan?
I was doing my best to be fair and reasonable.

I’m not coffee snob - I like McDonalds coffee quite a lot, but Tim Horton’s stuff is piss water.

I find Maccies coffee is too strong a roast. Always really bitter, even the latte.

Subway and Costa are better.

I don't think I've ever been to a Starbucks in my life. Unless it's somewhere that does a unique type of food then I never go there.

I just remembered Greggs coffee was alright when I went the other week too.

I walk past a Tim Hortons every time I go to the office. Looks terrible, I'd sooner go to Greggs.
