Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

If people have something positive to say they should post it (we all do at times).

Just pointing out someone else is being 'negative', doesn't mean you're being 'positive'
As I said to Jinky it goes both ways. If you're making a mildly positive comment it doesn't mean you have no negative thoughts.

You missed my point. Saying people are being negative isn't a positive comment
Does anyone think it is?.
Let's face it a number of posters just like to 'score points'.
Anyway that's enough of being miserable, I'm on holiday and having a fabulous time..
Some might say I timed my hols with the start of the season for a reason😀

This subforum is about Wolves... people will post how they feel and view Wolves at a moment in time... currently the mood is that Wolves look undercooked and desperately poor, how should people post to reflect that??

I feel confident in saying that if I got the dredger out and traveled back in time to Nuno's Championship winning season and the two seasons that followed that this place was buzzing with positively! And rightly so.

But given what we're witnessing then I feel the mood on here is about right.

Bit late to the party but came out of the ground yesterday with a much more negative mindset than last week and even going in to the ground.

I thought we were really poor yet could/should have scored twice in the first half and had Arias took his chance early in the second half then who knows. Worried that our better players of last year like Agbadou, Joao, Andre and Larsen are yet to look like anywhere near the level they are capable of although Larsen was without doubt our best players first half when we got it in to him. Then the players i think we all know aren’t good enough to play week in week out haven’t stepped up, Bellegarde particularly was well off the level the required and Munetsi was Munetsi, good movement and works hard but you basically carry him in possession.

The whole atmosphere around the club is just shit as well no matter what your views are, i just don’t see any positivity with the current owners and the direction of the club in general but definitely the playing staff and the treatment of fans. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s pretty tough.

I watched the game live, and trust me i jump, shout, kick and swear watching on tv, as much as i always did in my years on the north bank.
My ex wouldn't sit within 2yards of me when i was watching wolves on telly, but anyway, i never mind the maniac matchday thread, but i0 always seriously follow the verdict thread.
i must say i found a fair few differences in writing, to what i felt i watched, north bank style.
So, i watched it again tonight, just finished, it's late here.
So watching it calmly i found:-
After a chaotic first 20 mins from wolves in which we offered no midfield, or much else and bournemouth bullied us and waltzed through the middle at will, we weren't as bad as many posts suggest.
Hoever was bang average, and after his first 10 minutes tsatsuoa (sp) left me in no doubt he's gonna be a real asset to us.
He's strong, fast, a tough tackler, and a great crosser/passer of the ball.
Semenyo was a handful all game, in fact running the show, but nowhere near as much once Jackson came on and got bedded in.
Arias i'm still waiting to see more of.
Hugo, was far better for us than the current Wolfe man. Neither are great at the back, (neither was Ran), but Hugo is streets ahead of wolfe going forward, especially crosses and free kicks.
Agba was not as bad as his first game, apart from some silly bringing the ball out pirrouetes, but Doc was. I would play santi instead of him, whose sub appearance very much helped the 10 men who saw us through to the end.
Munetsi does his bit but he has to have lots of heading and shooting homework for at least the whole of the autumn term.
Bellegarde who had some great games last season, never got in the game today.
Strand is not on it yet, still shit at laying off the ball in an aerial duel, and still strolls about a bit too much for me.
We need to give lopez a game or two until munetsi finishes his homework, I would like to see lopez, a0rias and larsen up front.
I certainly don't think there's a rift in the dressing room, but a few players are still on the beach, as might be vitor.
I also think the sale rumours are giving the players zero confidence, and need to be put to bed by Jeff, now.
Wether they are true or not,
and somebody please buy Hwang.
