Brentford (H) 25/05/25, 1600 BST - Build Up and Match Thread

For those old enough to remember Frank Bruno in the late 80s used to play in charity games that were televised. He'd run around and people would bounce off him, or if they got in his way he'd ragdoll them, but if he got the ball at his feet it'd bounce off him at a right angle. That's Marshall Munetsi

Currently winning the race for 17th now West Ham are in front at Ipswich.

Man Utd have been all over Villa. Who need to win.

We're looking hesitant and slightly clueless going forward, only way we get something out of this is a final bit of magic from Mr Titles or a set piece

Let's hope Alan is able to pick up on that one.

Lack of quality in the final third from us again. Andre seems to break out nicely bit then slows it down, Cumha is trying to be a one man team, Guedes covers some useful ground and opens up space but we don't have anyone to take advantage, and Munetsi gives the ball away time and time again. At the back, we are very open and always seem to play ourselves into trouble. Anyone would think this was a GON team.

West Ham and Spurs winning and Villa down to 10 men, 17th will be ours
Reversion to the norm. We've been 17th best all year, and at times not even that. We were going down under GON and would've taken 17th in a heartbeat.

It's a pretty typical Wolves performance: plenty of nice football in possession, not really many clear cut chances created, sloppy and lacking in concentration and falling behind to a team far more clinical than we are. RAN was fucking appalling for their goal, and Cunha culpable too. If no-one comes in for RAN in the summer, it's probably mistakes like that why they are hesitant. Munetsi has been rubbish, Guedes, one nice control and pass aside, may as well have been vapourised.
