Totally agree and have said so myself previously. But I was interpreting people’s anger (rightly or wrongly) as being directed at the selection.

We moved on Ait and Semedo, spent what about 25m on their replacements, and this far into the season are starting neither of them and instead playing two players that didnt exactly excel during loans.

Its a failure on so many levels, the start of which was too much turnover and too stringent with our own end of it.

But he doesn’t stay on his line because no keeper stays on his line with the defensive line that high and the ball on the half way line.

He’s hit it first time on the volley from 20 yards out and put it right inside the post. It’s a freak goal. I’m more worried about the CB giving him that much space.
