Bury fan in peace

Hi all, I’m looking for a specific goal between our two sides. I’m friends with Peter Valentine who scored for Bury at Molineux in a 1-1 draw on 18th March 1986. Might there be footage of it anywhere on an old season review video? Even if it was just a mobile phone video of the goal being shown on a telly, he’d love to see it. Thanks.

My first ever Bury game was actually against Wolves two years later, on the first day of 88/89 as Bury won 3-1 in the 11am kick off. 31 years to the day later we were thrown out of the league. Oh well.

We were on our knees in 1986, essentially our lowest ebb. It's a couple of years before my time but I would be amazed if we were producing season review VHS tapes then, we couldn't afford to stick the boiler on.

I don’t think video cameras existed in Bury until the mid-90s. I thought Wolverhampton might have been a bit more sophisticated.

Have you posted it on Molineux Mix? They get a lot more traffic in terms of individual users. You might have more success.
