I only really post on the Wolves section of the forum so can’t really comment on the general chat side.
People won’t like it, but this is what happens when those with any sort of different opinion get chased around the forum for months (or years!), called names, have the laughing emoji slapped on nearly every post by the same people time & time again - and essentially are made to feel like their opinion is inferior. Or when fellow members of the forum try to police others posts. The place has become a bit of an echo chamber - and those that have gone through the above, but are thick skinned enough to still be kicking around, often end up in pointless, circular debates. There’s an awful lot of ‘attack the poster not the post’ these days, but actually, I think it’s been a problem for years.
The unfortunate thing is, a lot of those responsible for the above consider themselves untouchable - they find it unfathomable to consider that others may see things differently - and are often just allowed to do as they please. All while completely dismissing the commitment and hard yards that some of us have put in to supporting this club for years & years. I know this, because I’ve been on the end of this sort of stuff myself in very recent history. So here we are.
The general apathy surrounding the club absolutely does not help with the forum traffic. But until something changes with people’s attitudes towards others and their difference in opinions, I don’t see it improving much, even if the performances on the pitch do.
That’s my two cents, and I’m sure many will disagree. Maybe a few might agree. THAT’S THE JOY OF HAVING AN OPINION. Mad innit?

@Alan - while this forum exists and there’s air in my lungs, you can rely on me to always remind people how much of a prized pillock Jeff Shi is
