Ah Barry Martin!

He was my French teacher at secondary school. He was a massive bellend who everyone used to laugh at and take the piss out of, even the other teachers. I'm not exaggerating either, he was a bit of a joke and a terrible teacher who couldn't control his classes.

He's also been banned off the Burton Life Facebook group for being a twat to people. A few of the women who got into arguments with him on there also said he's a weirdo and used to turn up where they worked for no reason to talk to them about it.

I remember while I was still at school, seeing him in the local newsagent when he was trying to move into being a "journalist", which apparently meant getting the local evening papers and kneeling down on the floor spreading them all out while he wrote stuff down in his notepad.

Very strange bloke. Exactly the sort of guy Reform would appeal to and vice versa.
 
Guy who works for me is set to become Reform candidate for MP in a northern constituency. He was baffled by my dead faced response when he told me
 
There were a lot of his posts tagged onto the one I posted nicked off twitter, he was a bellend and a weirdo in those as well, threatened a couple of people who called him out or disagreed with him by telling them “ I’m a councillor, you can’t talk to me like that, and if you carry on I’ve got the full authority of the council to retaliate with, and you’ll definitely be sorry”

Yep he had that little man syndrome back then too.

He looks like Mike Read nowadays. (the DJ, not the actor).

A glowing commendation for Durham county council’s new Reform UK leader Andrew Husband from his party’s spokesman: “Andrew is a business leader with a proven track record of growth in start-ups and building successful teams.”

This would be a track record that includes a string of short-lived directorships plus ownership of United Hygiene and Catering Equipment Ltd, now in liquidation owing just under £1m to creditors, including HM Revenue & Customs.

Reform who run Nottinghamshire council, have cancelled all meetings for June, so no decisions or consultations on anything will be taking place.
No reason given.

A reform councillor for West Northamptonshire council has been suspended by reform over concerns about his behaviour, so fuck knows what he’s been up to if it’s making them look bad
