agree. it is totally bizarre that no mainstream media seems to call him out on this bullshit, and this is long term - recall the breaking point poster that was complete bullshit.

It sticks, as others have said. some prock round here has taken to attaching st george flags and union flags to every lamp post. We came back off holiday to it - initially the wife thought it related to the lionesses (the womens euros were in full swing then). But no, it's some random fucking loon who apparently wants to "take the country back" which appears to be a code for being racist nowadays.
 
I'm going to say "I told you so", but way back in the General Election thread when everyone was commenting that it didn't matter what Starmer's Labour Party was like, they just had to get the Tories out, I repeatedly said that the policies they were campaigning on would lead to a shift to the right and open the door to let Reform in. Starmer has been the greatest gift Farage could have asked for.

There was comment about the post match video by Fer Lopez after Saturday's game vs Celta Vigo. The Wolves' fan wanted to know why are we signing overseas players. How can older fans have any enthusiasm for a team of foreigners and he 'wanted his club back'...

Ah I'd thought you'd seen him.
The only reason I ask is I always assume people spouting stuff like that are in the 50-80 bracket. According to my youngest that isn't the case, says he comes across loads of people his age (37) or younger that are right wing and brexit nut jobs. Have to say I was surprised and disappointed.

I do too, and I'm in my early 40s. I see/hear a lot of lads I've played football with over the years sharing/saying some very right wing, ignorant and/or just racist stuff.
