I know. But the feeling of getting a cracked version and completing a relatively difficult cracking/installation process - and not having to use Steam - are worth more than the £30 I've saved.

League Cup runners-up don't get into Europe, it filters down to 6th place in the PL (assuming FM replicates the actual rules, which it does 99.99% of the time).

I'm 6th in the league with Wolves at the moment, 25ish games in and in league cup final vs City also!
Only player I brought was Bassong, after nearly every game always see at the bottom "Bassong has won everything in the air today". He has been a good buy and I'm actually addicted this year, normally get bored when I lose a game!

Finished 2nd with Torquay so off to League One we go.
Had a massive blip and it looked like we'd miss out with ten games to go, but we turned it around and finishing strongly and ended up very comfortable.
It would seem that Harewood is off for 700k, a massive fee for a club in my position although he is very handy at this level.

Time for a little update, am up to January.
Currently sitting in 7th, played 26 games, won 14, drew 6, lost 6, scored 49 and unfortunately conceded 37, I'm scoring a fair amount, but conceding more than I'd like, but luckily, I'm outscoring teams atm, best win of the season so far has to be the match against West Brom, I went 2-0 down within 10 minutes, then James Rodriguez pulled 1 back with a penalty, then came the Kightly show, he managed a 10 minute hat trick with goals in the 32nd, 38th and 42nd minutes, but a goal in the 39th minute from them made it 4-3, but it wasn't finished yet, Shane Long managed an equaliser 1 minute before half time, so we went in drawing 4-4 at half time, the second half was never going to be as good as the first, we'd pretty much scored all our goals in the first half, but in the 60th minute, Steven Davis scored making it 5-4 to me, and that was the end of the scoring & I managed to hold on to the win, and it was at the Poorthorns making it all the much sweeter!
Made a few signings in January, got given the chance to change my Season Expectations in January, just kept the same one, which was top half finish, and got given another £10m, so went to work to improve the defence because I felt I was conceding too many.
Ins;
Micah Richards (wasn't getting much game time, and enquired and they came back with this price) - £11.25m
Michael Own (was transfer listed and knew I'd be missing Wilfried due to African Nations, and Doyle wasn't doing it for me) - £325k
Stefan Reinartz (got offered him by Leverkuson) - £4.5m.
Outs;
Beram Kayal (got displaced in the team by Lucas Anderson and wasn't happy so I sold him to Sevilla) - £5.25m

I'm working on a Wolves facepack add-on for FM12. I have sixteen players done so far and it loos the dog's bollocks when added into the game. When I've added a few more I'll email it out to people who want it.
EDIT: I can't find decent live action shots of Vokes or Elokobi in this season's kit. If anyone can link to any good ones (200 x 300 at least) it would be appreciated.

Finally got round to playing it a bit, few games into the season and i'm just not really feeling it so far, some of the layout/feature changes aren't for me but i'll give it some more time before i give up on it.
