General Wolves News

Yeah i get it's annoying, but it's like a 3 year old telling tales on his big sister.

Lets be better than that.

So it's ok for us to get a 100k fine and terrible publicity, the club do what they can to prevent further action, but it only matters if the perpetrators are home fans?

Just because you didnt see anything happen doesn't mean nothing happened. Stewards aren't going to wade into a group of fans and start snatching them out. They'll wait and grab them when its going to be met with the least resistance.

Or, with the CCTV as good as it is at Molineux they can isolate the seat and provide the seat number to Brighton to co-ordinate action been taken.

The club are responsible for the safety of away fans. They are not responsible for their behaviour

Just listening to the Steven Bartlett podcast with Ivan Toney. We gave Toney a squad number and then pulled the plug on the deal because he has scoliosis

Listening to that too. No wonder he loves a goal against us!

When was that? Don’t recall when we were seriously linked with him (genuinely).

Yep, scored against us for Northampton in the League Cup and we had a £500k deal sorted. Then he failed his medical.

Was years after that point before he was any good for anyone (as late as 2018 he was playing for Scunthorpe), we'd likely have just loaned him out endlessly before he quietly left.

Was that the same window we almost signed Callum Wilson too? I remember there being some debate on here about which would be the better option.

We wanted Wilson in January 2014 (he was injured and we'd sold all our strikers, so he was a no go. So we signed Leon instead, which was ace), Toney was August 2014 when we also wanted Chris Wood and Leicester turned down £3m off us.

Wigan also pipped us for Andy Delort that summer, he was dreadful for them but was still scoring goals in Ligue Un last season.
