General Wolves News

Coady would have been happy at Wolves and just like Tom King happy to clean the ballboys and mascots boots before a game.

Decent offer on this weekend for replica shirts:

For those wondering about ‘Wolves Records’. Another classic Fosun idea that, unfortunately, never got off the ground. I thought it might have been getting put to bed as I’m connected to the chap who was tasked with heading up Wolves Records on LinkedIn & he recently had a change of job title, which I thought odd. Anyway, it’s in the sea, by the sounds of it.

I was told in no uncertain terms that it was a commercially innovative piece of genius that was going to be instrumental in allowing us to steadily improve without falling foul of PSR? Anybody that couldn't see that was a dinosaur. You're telling me it was a complete waste of time?

I could forgive them a few failed ventures if literally everything else hadn't turned to shit

I don't really know what the plan was? As a community initiative run by the trust to help budding local musicians/music technicians it could have been a force for good. Seems it wasn't that or much at all really other than noise.

Part of Brand Wolves.

Football Club
E-Sports
Music
Whatever other ideas Jeff has.

The music label is/was closely linked with the esports set up.

He could retire to (the) MLS

Sorry Alan

It's so transparent that it was bs. I'm sure the artists and the producers etc are genuine (clearly by that tweet) but who would've thought it'd have been rugged by Wolves higher ups as quickly as they came up with the idea? Everyone.

Just glad the artists haven't lost their stuff

Anyone fancy volunteering as a commentator to assist blind or visually impaired supporters?

I get you're helping out in what is a very good service and initiative, but you wouldn't get paid for your time and it doesn't even say if you get entrance to the stadium for free.

Doesn't sound that great unless you're retired or something.

Yeah it's a lot to commit to as a volunteer but fair play to anyone who is willing to do this, there's a little lad just in front of me who is blind and relies on that service and it strikes a chord when I see him at the game as my little boy has problems with his eyes.

Also handy if you are wanting to get in to comms game. Get experience on your CV whilst studying etc.

Maybe something clubs (loads use the company named) should invest in directly. They will be paying the company for its services yet the key part of this service is done for free. You have to presume it's free entry to the game, even if they are put in an office and commentate off the live feed.

I'd very much hope they'd be sat with with rest of the broadcast commentators. Unfortunately I don't think I'd last very long and the blind lad in front of Deano would learn a few choice new words whenever Doc put in a bad performance.

TWF has its own version of that 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game with poor old Matt Doherty.

I was going to drop his name but felt it would be harsh to redirect to him so early on..
