General Wolves News

He's been perfectly functional and had numerous games that have been 7/10 performances since Vitor came in.
Joao Gomes and Andre surely have to be the standouts though.

Unexpected stand outs though.

Fair to say not many us expected Doc to be a 1st choice as CB this season

If the category is unexpected stand outs you can't look past Agbadou surely. Nobody knew who he was 3 months ago and now he looks like an elite PL CB.

Doc has played well recently but it's a bit of a stretch to have him over Agba.

Yeah I agree, Agba has been phenomenal completely out of the blue.
Tbf Doc has been very good at CB for a couple of months considering his previous form. I'd still hope he is superceded by Djiga next season.
Also Bellegarde has to be in the conversation.

Nobody expected Doc to be able to look like a L2 player never mind a PL one...so his playing well is beyond unexpected

Andre just edges it for me. I think he's up there with some of the best defensive midfield players in the PL. Joao isn't far behind but offers more at the opposition end of the pitch while I think Andre's passing and composure is as good as it gets. It is actually shocking if one of his passes goes astray.

Exciting Stadium news....its getting painted in May
I heard a rumour that Fosun under Jeff Shi's entrepreneurial leadership are planning the finishing touches to an exciting new venture with a nod to China, Wolves and Wolverhampton. Manders Paints may be resurrected as a brand and to get the painting going there's a shipment of old Chinese red paint on its way from Shanghai. Just one problem is sourcing the white paint so that Mr. Shi can grant us a sparkling and shiny red and white striped stadium ready for our 150th birthday celebrations.
