Both probably! Not sure if you're agreeing with me or saying 100% is an annoying phrase![]()
I say all of these things but most of my colleagues are under 30 and female. Mate told me off for saying something was 'triggering' the other day.We are all old cunts![]()
Yeah they are like, some of the worst for like, people talking, like, soooo really annoyingly.God there's far worse than these.
When asking for something in a shop etc,
'Can I get' rather than 'can I have'
Starting a sentence with 'so'
Using the word 'yet' in place of 'then' or 'at the time'
Etc,
Bad vibes off this post"it/he/she is a vibe"
Get in the sea.
Not heard that one, I'd have to question that if I heard it said. The main one that infuriates me nowadays in "on accident"
Makes my blood boil.
Guilty as charged.Bunch of boomer cunts yous lot
Similar to learn - can you learn me how to speak English for instanceNot heard that one, I'd have to question that if I heard it said.
I used to work with a guy who always used the word borrow instead lend, 'borrow me your knife mate'. Never fazed him when I took the piss 'I've already got one, why do I need to borrow one?' 'No you borrow me yours' it happened regularly for the 12 years I worked with him.
Bunch of boomer cunts yous lot
Languages don't stand still; y'all are gonna have to deal. English ain't getting any closer to the version you grew up with.
