I personally think there’s no hope of us signing a forward to compete/back up JSL, given how much work we still need to do with incomings and what the date is. So I’d prefer us to keep hold of him too. Let him prove his fitness here and be a genuine squad option.

Obviously incomings require work but given how many players move on Transfer Deadline Day I’m not sure it’s a valid reason not to get the players in the at VP wants.

Absolutely agree we should keep him. Any loan fee we will recoup is so negligible, he's worth more as an option in the squad. We're light on numbers as is. Also from what I've seen, I quite liked him. Has shown good technical ability.

You’re clearly out for an argument given this is the second post of mine you’ve fired off at in just under a couple of minutes. So in attempt to avoid that and to offer some clarity on MY thoughts:

We don’t sign someone to compete or be back up to JSL and then send Sasa out on loan = incompetent.

We don’t sign someone and therefore keep Sasa here to be the back up/competition to JSL (assuming he’s proven his fitness in pre-season) = fine by me.

Not a fan of his opinion pieces tbh. Over does the attempts to be funny and generally gets Wolves wrong.
His twitter updates also annoyed me. He tried it with Spurs when he covered them and generally got told to shut the fuck up.

I did like his stuff when he had access at Wolves, like his article on how we managed the long flights when in Europe.

PTS is just a bit shit but I dont think he is required to do that much for us
