Jeremy Corbyn

Also worth mentioning - the party that will be most damaged by Jezzas new egotrip will be the greens. And minior parties are the ones most damaged by vote fragmentation in a FPTP system. So...good job, again.

People who didnt like him before wont like him now, and vice versa.

1751580482092.pngVehemently disagreeing with the launch of your own party is so very very on-brand for Jezza.

Pogrund wasn't told that by Corbyn though, but you do you.

Why do you despise Corbyn more than the plethora of awful politicians to the right of him?

Tbh I think it's pretty clear that on many occasions, Corbyn and the company he keeps have crossed the line between anti-Israeli state, and antisemetic.

Weird innit? Fine with war crimes in Iraq or Blair being mates with literally some of the worst people ever but CORBYN DID BREXIT!!

While that may well be the case, the opposite is also true in that those that revere the man really do take that to extremes as well.

I guess we could all agree that he polarises opinion!

I was fully on board with 2017 Labour but wouldn’t want to be part of anything Corbyn does in future. He isn’t a good leader, he just had a manufactured fan club and a few chants. He also attracted the type of people who believe in very narrow definitions of socialism who would stab you in the back if you veer away from their version of the truth. The sort of people I used to knock around with in the 80s who still hang on to the same views they held them.

Right wing politicians damaging the country is what they do. I dont expect the leader of the Labour party to help them.

I used to work in animal rescue which is very similar to democratic socialism in that everyone involved believes in it wholeheartedly, but also believes that their ideas are correct and everyone else is wrong.

Isn’t that the same for all political ideologies?

Yes it is.
It was just the constant bad-mouthing of everyone else when we were all working towards the same goals that I found so frustrating.

Theres a reason why the 'People Front Of Judea' scene was based on left wing politics, rather than the right - the narcissism of small differences writ large.

Ever since JC was booted out of Labour the overriding sentiment is dithering and uncertainty, which arent really the traits that voters looks for in leaders. JC clearly doesnt want to lead the new party, but its not entirely clear whether he wants anyone else to lead it either, lest they dare to differ from his vision.
