Keir Starmer at it again..

Lord grant me the confidence of a Corbyn supporter lecturing others about how to succeed in politics.

He's won his Parliamentary seat 11 consecutive times. What the fuck qualifies you to lecture anyone on succeeding in politics?

I was speaking more about the spit-flecked Corbynites that are gentle till challenged tbh

But doesn't matter how kind or gentle (Gentile?) your politics are if you're forever in opposition.

I am not sure I agree with this with this. Many of the great changes have been won by those not in power. There are plenty of examples of political change other than via the ballot box.

In recent history, it wasn't the Conservative government of 2015 that gave us Brexit, it was political opposition inside and outside of the Conservative Party that put them into a corner.

In more distant history, it was opposition that led to the civil rights movement. It was opposition that brought about the end of Apartheid South Africa.

Political power comes as much from what you do in opposition as what you do in power.

Historically, the labour movement has improved workers rights by being in opposition to the prevailing orthodoxy, occasionally the labour movement has also held the political power too...but all too rarely.

I don't know what this new party will be, and I am sceptical it will amount to a progressive force if it ends up just being a cult of personality like Reform, moreso if it is led by Corbyn.

But up and down the country there are progressive groups setting up that will need to have some form of federated structure (and personally I would include The Greens in that) and these groups can achieve things in opposition by talking to people, challenging the narratives put about by Reform and the current government (nobody is listening to the Tories) and being better than those currently in power.

Its one of the safest labour seats in the country. For the majority of his time as an MP my left bollock could have won if it had a red rosette pinned to it.

And as for qualification, not a single spectator at Molineux is as skilled as the players on the pitch. Does that mean they can't be criticised?

As a backbench MP, JC was useless but harmless. As leader he was still useless, but at a time when the country needed competent opposition. We had a pro Brexit government and a pro Brexit LOTO. And generations will suffer as a result.

But hey, they chanted his name at Glastonbury, so that's great. Always good to stroke his ego....

Kinder gentler politics is refusing to attend every state dinner except the one honouring a Chinese leadership who are committing genocide against the Uyghurs.

Maybe Xi Jinping isn't Jewish enough to be condemned?

The shamelessly narcissistic and inflated sense of importance at play here... we should have been banging pots for Corbynites during COVID, not NHS workers, for all the social murder you prevent day in, day out 🙏
Wtf does this even mean?

Did you bang any pots?
