I associate The Berb more with Fulham for some reason; great shout tho. The others, aside from Bale, were before my time. And obviously Robbie Keane, Berbatov, Bale...even Freddy Kanoute, they've had a lot of fun, flair players.
Except Gary Doherty.

Think Terry was always underrated as a footballer because his defending style was very blood and thunder at times but he could play, pretty comfortable with either foot too from memory. Still my favourite defender despite being a dick.Terry's passing ability was a genuine surprise.
In fact, generally that season I was surprised many times by how good so many players were live.
Edu in that 3-1 home defeat was outrageously good, for example. A player I had no real opinion of prior to it.
Sorry, I cannot bring myself to agree with you. I have a loathing of them going back to the early 70s...I've always found Spurs a great watch. No fondness for them as such, but throughout my life their games have been consistently full of drama, hilarity and goals.
How do United keep being so wank?
The volume of absolute nothing players they sign for huge money under various different managers and setups is wild. Who was their last genuinely successful transfer? Fernandes? Casemiro did a lot better than expected for that first season I guess. Doesn't seem to matter whether they go for experienced players, unearthing hidden gems or finding the next big thing before they breakout - they all turn out to be wank. They're basically Bruno Lage's Wolves, for 100x the cost.
Recruitment. Players they've signed in the past think that pulling on the jersey means they've 'arrived'.How do United keep being so wank?
Johnny Evans. Consistent, reliable.Leny Yoro

Says it all really.
