Didn't know that I must admit. Don't remember it. Kind of reminds me of the LU one leeds had.

Just checked the current Leeds badge and past badges. Something always told me that they had an owl at one point, then I thought, nah, was it a peacock?
Seems they had both. The owl was when I was a little kid

The owl (of Athena) is in the city of leeeds' coat of arms and was used by lufc until 71. The peacock (lufc's nickname) had a brief spell in the early 80s. The later use of a cockroach is my favourite

The retro Leeds badge is a loads better than the rubbish current one. Although, I always think of the 1992 title winning badge when I think of Leeds.

Sunderland should definitely go back to their old badge too.
