Live Match Discussion 2024/25

I’m not sure how you expect him to respond when basically the question is saying you’ve been shit this season. If they win the Europa that eclipses that and Spurs can celebrate their first trophy in a generation. I think with some justification Spurs might still sack him but suggesting winning the Europa doesn’t make up for a bad league position is ridiculous. It’s not like Spurs have been challenging for the league since they imploded and Leicester won it.

Fuck him; he's an aggy, bitchy misery and the league is bread and butter and he's failed miserably at it, while moaning and making excuses for months on end. Tiresome bloke

His auto response to a question is to be uber defensive (might have had a better league season if he set his team up like that...) but on this one I agree with him. What Utd do or say has nothing to do with Spurs season and shouldn't be a tool to measure what is a success or failure for them.

If they win the Cup and finish 17th...will still be a successful season. Won a major trophy and qualified for the CL.
His bosses may think the league stuff is unacceptable and replace him but still a success for Spurs if they win the EL.

Sunderland in front for all of two minutes against Coventry. I suspect whatever happens, Rudoni will likely be playing in the Premier League next season.

Coventry keeper should have saved the Sunderland goal, but it's definitely livened up what was a dull affair prior to it.

Shit backpass but no idea what keepers thinking. Stays on his line (or at least in your area) and he probably doesnt score. Make the forward have to think and do something, give your defenders chance to put some pressure on and narrow the angle, back yourself to make a save, not make his decision for him and give him an open goal.

Two teams who, should either win the playoffs, look as though they’d struggle in the Premier League.

Jeez. Thx for the memory. I remember in the bad old days going to those two away. Yes, it was a laugh at times but I give thanks that I am not waiting to watch fixtures like that.

All square after Orient decide a spot of volleyball when defending a set piece would be a good idea

Absolute stonewall penalty for Orient not given with the ref looking right at it from about 10 feet away.

Really enjoyable watch though, I think Stockport especially will have no problems adapting to the championship if they went up.
