9/10 it wouldn't be classed as a clear chance. Luckily VAR dodged the chance for a debate on it by watching a different incident and saying all good, carry on.

Not fantastic keeping neither. Can only comment on the first half but I wouldn't be thrilled if we had signed a keeper who looked the way he has so far. Doesn't seem to have great or above average athleticism or anticipation on the basis of today.

Yeah I didn't want to mention the first or SJ as not sure if I am still on my ban!

Only first game but at least on the little bits I have seen he doesn't seem like he fits the style you would imagine they want. He does look pretty physical and direct with crosses and aerial stuff though, but he also looks very deep considering the line they sometimes play in possession.

VVD very casual getting back. Be interesting to see whether he and Salah are on the decline like Walker and de Bruyne at City last season (Admittedly de Bruyne was partly due to injuries as at end of season he looked a lot better than early in the season).
