Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Probably the latter. There's still goals available to them as Chelsea look pretty ropey at the back too. Can't see them scoring twice though without Chelsea adding to their tally also.

4-1

Loads leaving and definitely not for the pints or toilets

Race to be first manager to go looks like it will end very early. Potter and Nuno in a neck and neck race to the line. Potter nudges ahead as WH go 5-1 down.

Once Nuno walks this weekend, I’ll be lumping on Potter to be sacked next. They’ve got some decent footballers but look absolutely terrible.

You could be forgiven for thinking WH are employing Gary O’Neill as a consultant set piece coach.

Is it the same Potter that several on here wanted to be England manager not so long ago? 😆

He was highly rated by everyone in the game after Brighton. He's either going to a promoted PL club next or the championship...

Potter has chosen two clubs that really don’t fit his mould. Basically Chelsea have zero patience and West Ham for some reason want great football now whilst doing well at the same time.
Potter is more of a project type so being at BHA, Ostersunds and Swansea where you get more time and less expectations for immediate success would suit him better.

Very thin gruel beyond Bowen and Pacqueta. They've spent enough over the years but it's gone on shite mainly. £46m on Kilman being a perfect example. £35m on Ward-Prowse. They're not going to be able to fix it in 7 days.

I also think clubs of our level can only sustain so many shit managers. Man U have had about 10 in a row but there still a Premier League side. Just. West Ham look to have made two poor appointments in a row. Hard to come back from that.

Often fall into the trap of buying players who’ve played at big clubs or good players who are 2-3 years past their best.
The “academy of football” doesn’t churn out players and nowhere enough to cover a poor window.

Spurs look sharp. City look a little slow.
I’m sure Pep will change things at half time.

Beating us 4-0 definitely wasn’t a signal that City were back.

Fuckin ridiculous pissin about with trying to play out from the back with a goal kick leads to the second goal for Spurs.

Just madness.

That’s the end of his run in the city team!

I couldn’t understand why everyone was touting him this summer - had they forgotten how about he was for Burnley in the Premier League the last time?
He and Ramsdale make no sense at all to me
