Correct. I chose to ignore his comment as it’s daft & I was trying to be positive!
Take your Wolves hat off a minute. It's incredibly blinkered to think this is a dire Man Utd team. Are you seriously suggesting that man for man, this Wolves team is demonstrably superior?

Also - Hojlund going through a dry spell is no less indicative of his quality as a striker as Raul's was for us in his last season and a half.

Hojlund has 13 goals in 58 for Man U (THREE this season), talking about him in the same sentence as Raul is a disgrace, regardless of what Hojlund does today

It’s not an argument I can be arsed to get into right now, as I’m watching the game.

But to answer your question - I’d probably have Mainoo over Marshall. Onana gets in ahead of Bentley, but I wouldn’t have swapped Sa for him - and there’s genuinely no one else I’d take ahead of our players from the starting 11’s today. If Bruno & Maguire had started, they’d both be in the combined side.

I grew up watching the Manchester United of the 90’s that won everything, so you’ll have to forgive me for disagreeing with you that this is a shite Utd side that’s there to be beaten.

This ain’t your grand pappy’s United ay

Johnstone is either the most injury prone player in the whole world or a massive man baby.

Hopefully Bentz plays a blinder and Tom King gets nowhere near the pitch.

Djiga was 10mill and MM was 16mill? Weren't they?

Djiga is 22, don't really understand the pant wetting.

It's nice to have a squad.

Pant wetting? You sound like Dublin Drummer Wolf on the Fabio signing thread.

I'm just saying the signing looks a dud, and an attempt to second guess that it's a bit of Hobbs genius to get him in and 'settled' for six months is just clutching at straws, and forumites are pretty hypocritical about how casually his disappearing act is taken, when you see the stick other players and signings get.

What if Doc hadn't worked out? We'd have been playing Santi there for the past couple of months, that's what.

As it stands, he's not much more of a 'nice' 'squad' option than Johnstone and Forbs are.

Djiga would be far from the first player who needed time to settle in a new country at a much higher level than he was playing at previously. Dendoncker being a very recent example.

Santi’s done okay so far today, we’re pretty much out of relegation trouble… the Djiga handwringing can wait, IMO.

Also, £10m is pennies these days.

I honestly don't understand why you are so emotional about it, as i said - had he not been getting in and we were still in the bottom 3, then granted. But we'll see if he was a good or bad signing by how much he plays next season.

Doherty DID work out, what if JSL hadn't started scoring? What if we'd kept GON on for 5 more games? What if Andre hadn't turned out to be a brilliant signing?

With your own self enforced "rules" that apparently next season doesn't count. Yeah you can decide he's a dud if you want, please yourself.

And 16mill and 10million are not "similar" fees, which was what my reply was about, you're just being silly there aren't you?

Would be nice to get ahead before they bring on Bruno in the second half. That opening 20 mins, they’ve been abysmal. Surely you’d be looking to test Bentley? They’ve not had a shot have they?

We’re neat & tidy but haven’t created anything either. As we’ve got nothing from an attacking perspective on the bench, it’d be nice if we could get at Onana a bit more.
