I honestly don't understand why you are so emotional about it, as i said - had he not been getting in and we were still in the bottom 3, then granted. But we'll see if he was a good or bad signing by how much he plays next season.

And 16mill and 10million are not "similar" fees, which was what my reply was about.

The fact we stayed up without him doesn't vindicate the signing.

Him not even getting a sniff of game time and being bottom of the CB pile is concerning, and both £10m and £16m are not insignificant amounts for our club, but only one of those signings has even broken into a sweat for us.

I don't know about good or bad, he looks more like a pointless signing to me, and I'd rather we'd put that £10m towards a RCB Agbadouesque signing in the summer rather than someone in January to be 5th choice

We've looked decent in the build up but we've been poor in the final third.

Man Utd pushing us back more now too and the ref giving them whatever they want.

I think you’ve made your point, mate. Every week. For the last three months…

I'm not saying it does vindicate the signing!? I'm saying the jury is out at this stage, he's 22, not 29 for a start.

You are saying he's a dud, we can't possibly know that yet. And to say "16 and 10mill are similar" and "next season doesn't matter" are just absolutely ridiculous statements, and they're both things you've said.

You mentioned Doc as well as Sa.

Is Santi squad strength?
Having Santi and Djiga as potential replacements for Doc is clearly an element of squad strength in comparison of Bentley and King for Sa or last season when we were playing children up front.

What is wrong with you today!?

Who's 29?

Djiga has played 100+ first team games, he's not Meuipou

Typical end of season game with neither team having much to play for. Goalkeepers not troubled and players just running around in circles with no real idea of creating something. It's a game where a player like Cunha should take control of but he's been a non event so far.

Not a great half. They've looked more dangerous in the final third. Munetsi has been rubbish.

Pretty poor first half, although with the defensive/GK changes we should be fairly happy with the clean sheet

I don't think either team looks like they are on the beach at all? It's not lack of effort, it's lack of quality, and the ref breaking the play any time we make a challenge.

Bellergrade, its better playermaker vs Andre/Gomez. Lose more balls, true, but he its more direct to up.

Andre/Gomez are similiar player, only spam short passes to back left direction. Dont create good attack actions.

You guys need better asistants, its imposible play whitout they. Larsen stop running because never send a long pass.

Its imposible play in forward if all time cancel the pass and pass back.

Hard to ignore the referee when he doesn’t understand it’s not a non-contact sport, but trying to focus on the performance, it’s been a bit of a stinker really.

I’d like to see Vitor switch Semedo to RCB and for Rodrigo to come on for Santi. Get him bombing down the wing and actually provide some service for Cunha/JSL. Too slow, safe & methodical - get some pace on.

Utd are shite and deserve to be beaten. If we carry on like this, Jones will eventually get the assist he’s desperate to have, as they’ll make one of the set pieces count. Especially as/when Bruno comes on.
