Who do we reckon?

Dawson apparently is pretty quiet off the pitch but I think he leads by example and with his experience (plus he'll 100% play when fit) it makes him the outstanding candidate.

We're actually fairly short on viable choices as it stands.
 
Lemina for me. Seems to have legitimately matured since parenthood and I think that perspective could be hugely valuable to some of the youths.

Wouldn’t be at all upset if it went to Dawson or a new signing (depending who that would be, of course), though.
 
Real lack of other viable candidates. Maybe Lemina but he might not play every week.

It had better not be Kilman.
 
I'm pretty sure Lemina will start 30+ games, subject to availability.

Can’t help feeling slightly underwhelmed if Craig Dawson is the Wolves PL captain.

As you say, we’re short of choice and he seems obvious though.

Feels a bit shit, though.
 
Wasn't Kilman captain for a game last season. Was anyone else for a full game?

I'd say Dawson or TWF favourite Kilman 🤯

Only other viable one is Lemina but as mentioned he might not play all games

Kilman started last season as vice captain.
Lage considered him for the captains role ahead of Neves.
Davis took over and made Mout VC.
Lopetegui kept that but when Rubes was suspended and Mout wasn't playing he gave Kilman the armband for some Internet lolz.

Even if he's not Captain, Dawson will be defence leader anyway, so maybe worth giving it to Lemina, he's just not allowed to go within 50 yards of the ref.
 
You'd imagine it will be Dawson, but I'd be happy with Lemina. Kilman will probably get the role though.
 
Dawson, unless we bring in a worthy signing.

Certainly wont be Kilman.
