I struggled to read that and had to stop half-way through.

Absolutely shocking and horrific that babies could be murdered in such quantities, although those words aren't nearly strong enough - i'm not sure what words are

I am aware of the necessity of religion at this stage in human development but I too do not have the words to describe how I feel about this simply appalling treatment of innocents there and obviously hidden on a massive scale elsewhere across the world.

In my 5th day of 44c/46c (today). Energy levels for anything but making a cuppa or walking 15metres to the cold shower 10 times a day non existant.

Back ache and being tall.
I've had occasional back strains for 40 years, usually caused by a single incident, just need to be careful for a couple of weeks and all is fine. This one is worse - probably from repeatedly lifting a dog crate into back of a car. Took ibuprofen for the 1st time ever (no help at all), very sore, standing up/sitting down difficult, having to lay down a lot.
6'4" isn't unusually tall, but I'm making a conscious decision to stand up straight and realising that everything is designed for shorter people. Stand in front of the bathroom mirror - and see my chest, not my face. Reach for the tap - not without a painful bend. Flushing the toilet - even worse. Getting in and out of a car - it's amazing how much neck bending is needed that you normally don't think about, plus it takes ages and hurts like hell.

Also walking down the street past a tree. Low hanging branches are removed, but not for tall people who have to walk in the road if they cannot duck.

This is not me defending it; I don't know I've ever lived anywhere that sufficiently trimmed branches overhanging sidewalks. It's weird.

Planning to make a long journey in the car, signed up to Tesla.
Went to the first page, 'Find Super charging stations in Ireland'
My nearest one is on both sides of the M1 (Dublin to Belfast) and just before Dundalk there's a service station with ONE EV charging point and TEN Tesla ones.
BUT IT DOESN'T APPEAR ON THE MAP!
So I pulled into the Northbound one (Because its there), plugged the cable into my car, checked the 'find the nearest charger' on the Tesla map... and Nope, still not there! BUT, the Southbound one was on it!!
Fuck me, it inspires confidence in you doesn't it?

Found out why this is...
It's because they were forced to open up their chargers to non Tesla owners, so they did.
Now, it transpires that less than 50% of Tesla chargers are available to non Tesla owners even if you have an account with them. AND, of the ones that are open to other drivers, only a few of the stands will be available.
So fuck them./I'll take my golf to Spain and stop once rather than the 4 times if I'd have gone with EV. Also, with an EV it would have worked out at €98 each way to charge. The Golf will cost €78 for one fill. Plus 4 stops add at least 2 hours to the journey, The Golf will add 10 minutes for the one stop.
