The DP rule is one of the most stupid things I've ever seen in US soccer. Allowing loan moves of this nature just makes a mockery of the whole thing. We all know Garber is going to allow Beckham to do what he wants while fall guys like McDonough take the hit. Of course, McDonough broke many rules both in Atlanta and Miami but nothing ever seems to happen to properly penalise the favoured few.

Then we could talk about the one game ban for Messi and Alba over a non event game that is way past its sell by date.
