Summer 2025 Transfer Window (not Wolves)

It sounds like it’s possible that the release clause was a secret and so the on it sadly Spurs could know about it was by speaking to him without permission? Or something. Might just be one of those things that everyone does but is technically not allowed so Forest can kick off and delay it all for a while.
Not sure how a release clause can be "secret"? Or do you mean, no one should know about it and bid what they think he's worth, but if it tips over the £60m mark Forest have to accept?

Ever seen National Treasure?

Hmmm can’t see Levy making such a cock up on something so simple

Forest would need to prove there's been an illegal approach. No one publishes clauses from a player's contract, but lo and behold buying clubs often know exactly where to pitch an offer when there's a release clause. It's in many parties' interests to make sure the release clause is known - mainly agents.

Forest fans are interesting shall we say. One of my closest friends is a STH and I love him dearly but he seriously thought they should go for Cunha and got very annoyed when I nearly fell off my bar stool laughing. Those two stars above their badge create a huge level of delusion.

Said it before Forest, Villa, Leeds and Newcastle fans are the most egotistical bunches with humongous holes in their history.
Villa not denying massive club but just 1 league title in 100 years, the EC win was 43 years ago and no fa cup win since the 1950’s
Newcastle won 1 league title in 100 years in 1927, and first major trophy since 1967 this season.
Leeds I mean an absolute ghost club until the mid 60’s history is in a window of about 11 years bar the 91/92 season. Been out the top flight more than in it.
Forest great peroid from 1977 to 1981 but after that a few league cup successes.
Huge amount of time outside the top flight also.
Big clubs but absolutely not in stratosphere of the very elite.

If MGW or his agent volunteered the information after he "heard Spurs might be interested" its not an illegal approach.

Prove it wasnt that way you egotistical cunt Marinakis

Needed a good laugh ...

"Chelsea
set a £100m asking price for Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson, 24, amid interest from AC Milan"

I’m sure their only interest is how can they also sell tat for ridiculous prices.

That said I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Chelsea subsequently sell him to a Saudi team in a dodgy deal for £80m.

Clough himself said Derby were a bigger club and that Nottingham wasn't a football town. That's what makes his achievements all the more incredible.

Gyokeres going to Arsenal for €63.5m plus guaranteed €10m in add ons

Newcastle moving to sign Hugo Ekitike but..

Liverpool ask Newcastle about Isak and ready to pay £120m.
Newcastle say no deal on that front.

Liverpool now ready to move for Ekitike.
