The F1 Thread

As expected then, teams not happy that Direct Copy rather than Tracing Point are allowed to continue using parts deemed illegal and not get further punishment. Ferrari leading the way (guess they need to push Seb up the grid somehow). Renault, McLaren & Red Bull will join the party as well. Presume Merc will keep a dignified silence since it is their car copied

I do find it bizarre that they are allowed to keep using them. I would have thought they could at least give them a realistic time frame to produce different ones.

Awesome job from Hulk. Shameful he was binned off this season in the first place.

These soft tyres are going to be pointless in race trim. They won’t even last ten laps.

Top work from Mick wiping out his teammate when he had half an acre to complete his move. Woeful.

Brundle reaction - “I don’t listen to autocue statements, I talk to team principals”

But he then, kind of, defended them by stating that the origins of F1 was teams buying the same cars and racing against each other

Lovely to hear from dear old Murray Walker there. Can’t believe he is 96 years old!

Seb's going to get the Prost treatment at this rate - that's unbelievable.

Verstappen is an absolute master with tyre management, he’s got this one in the bag by the looks of it.

Max for the win, disappointing when a race is decided purely by tyres.
