Not sure that was a wise gap for Gasly to go for tbh, Russell was always going to move left a bit to get ready for turn 1.
This. The flip was because it hit gravel wasn't it? Car digs in rather than skidding along at that point but still plenty of force so whipped it up and barrelling over the barrier.
Perez Q3 times deleted and lap in Q2. Starts 13th in the sprint race. What's that? A Red Bull exceeding track limits but not getting binned out of quali? He'll now qualify 5th with Lewis in the wall, so benefits even if he gets 5 places.
Just the five hours to sort it.Perez Q3 times deleted and lap in Q2. Starts 13th in the sprint race.
Apparently it wasn't picked up as he left the track before the zone. Stewards decided they were very very busy at the time and couldn't look at it until after the session.Just the five hours to sort it.
He definitely drifted back towards Perez slightly on the apex. Not sure Russel could have done much to stop the collision but not sure why he moved so much to the inside allowing Perez the opportunity to go round him in the first place.
Yeah for sure. But the incident never happens if he just follows the Ferrari, which means there’s no where for Perez to go. Instead moves inside, brakes really early and just leaves the door wide open for PerezHe definitely drifted back towards Perez slightly on the apex.
