Real Madrid sent a formal letter of complaint, external to the Spanish FA (RFEF) and Spain's High Council for Sports after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Espanyol on Saturday.

In the letter they claimed that officials - including video assistant referees (VAR) - are biased against them, "rigged", and "completely discredited".

I know it sounds flippant but it's perhaps easier to do that when you're not having a shocker. I can't imagine there'd be a lovely chat about football and life if I got a call from Molineux atm!

I know I'm going to word this terribly and basically make it look like I'm some sort of nonce but here goes.

If this is true he will have been found "guilty of sharing child porn". It just seems a bit much as a label. Like I know it's a child and so it's the law, but it just doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

Obviously in his position, the basic rule should just be "No ID, no D", given a 15 year old can look 21 and vice versa, then you're never in the shit, but if it's a slip up rather than actual noncing it seems a bit harsh.

Exactly what happened to Gylfi Sigurdson. Set up with a 15 year old who looked 21 in a Liverpool nightclub.
