The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2024/25

Don't give him that much credit, he hasn't logged in since 2pm so it's admin who changed it.
Oh really?
In which case it was a joke based on how people of Chinese origin speak, which if James' employers were to see it, assuming he still drives coaches for a living, would quite likely get him sacked I'd have thought.

de Zerbi off to Marseille if they can agree compensation terms with Brighton

Gutting for St Pauli.

I don't think he's ready for this kind of step but we'll find out, I guess. Brighton were pretty crap for most of last season. Started off with 15 points from 6 games. 33 from the next 32.

I agree with you. No way he's ready. Good for us as that's another team who be inconsistent.

Robbie Savage takes over as manager at the club where he is a shareholder, Macclesfield Town.

Surprised it didn't come earlier after seeing his forays into the dressing room on the documentary about the club.

Surprised by this. It's not realistic, but in a binary choice I'd rather have Potter than GON
I wouldn't personally. Potter's Brighton struggled to score goals. I've had enough of that over the last 5 years and much prefer GON's attacking style even if it does mean we struggle a bit more defensively.
